Services
- Fillings: Sometimes called “tooth restorations”, these are performed to replace tooth structure that has been removed due to decay or for teeth needing restoration due to trauma.
- Crowns: Tooth-colored crowns are placed on the front teeth, providing the best esthetics and strength. Stainless steel crowns are used on the back teeth (molars) to give the best retention and strength. Our goal is always to provide for the proper health of your child’s teeth and to allow proper growth within the oral cavity.
- Oral Hygiene Instructions: Each parent and patient are educated on proper oral health care. Each of our Tooth Tales children receives a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste and other goodies to maintain a beautiful smile.
- Prophylaxis/Cleaning: Routine cleanings are usually performed every six months to insure proper maintenance and prevention. They may be occasions when a patient will have cleanings every three months, due to moderate to high-risk of tooth decay.
- Radiographs (X-rays): X-rays are taken during a comprehensive examination or when tooth disease or trauma is suspected. This enables the Tooth Tales doctor to properly diagnose your child’s oral health. Examples of such occasions include determining if cavities or infection exist within the mouth or monitoring the proper development of the teeth.
