Welcome From the Dentist

When you were very, very young, something wonderful happened to you. One at a time, teeth started appearing inside your mouth.

Those teeth help you chew food so that you don’t have to eat soft baby food all the time. If you’re about five or six years or older, you have noticed that some of those teeth began to get loose. They came out of your mouth at the right time so that the “grown-up teeth” hiding under your gums could come in and stay with you for the rest of your life.

Just as you eat good food every day to make your whole body healthy and strong, you also do things for your teeth to make them healthy and strong.

Sometimes you will come visit us at Tooth Tales, just so we can check on your teeth to see how they are doing.  When you come into our office, you will find that there are toys and books and even some video games. We want you to be comfortable and happy while you are waiting to see the dentist.

When you come into talk with me, so that I can look at your teeth, we do lots of things to make you comfortable. Our office is just for people like you.

We will show you what your teeth look like and treat you as a very important person. You can ask me any questions you may have and we will answer those questions.
